Austin was instrumental in my high school development. His training prepared me mentally and physically to play college basketball at the highest level. The skill and weight training are elite. Not only did Austin care about my basketball development, he was a mentor to me. A1 Athletics sticks out to me the most because it is a relationship that is more than basketball; they care about you off the court as well. I can’t wait to get back and train with the family in the off-season!
I’ve been working out with Austin for 4 years now and have learned so much about what it takes to be the best on and off the court. On the court, he has broken down the game to a science where he can find what you’re doing wrong on a movement and give you multiple ways of fixing it. He also helped with my confidence and ability to read the game at a high level. Off the court, Austin is one of the most hard working, loyal, and humble guys I know. He’s taught me how to approach life and been a great example to learn from basketball and life wise.
Austin honestly cares about every person that walks into his gym for training. When the kids come in to train he ask about their families, school, or anything they have going on in their life. He’s extremely big on little details and he spots minor mistakes right away. From shooting technique to the player’s poster while they are dribbling the ball. He won’t put a kid through a workout and sit there while the kid does the drills. He’s well engaged with every rep. He wants these players to become the best version of themselves. Everything he does is at an elite level. Not to mention, he’s a dog on the court and I don’t know anyone who can out shoot him.
